Commuters have flocked to the Vande Bharat trains. It is India’s first semi-high-speed train with top-notch passenger amenities.

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Vande Bharat trains on five new lines from Bhopal’s Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. Two of the trains will be introduced in Madhya Pradesh, one in Karnataka, one in Bihar, and one in Goa as the Vande Bharat Express.

Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express; Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express; Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express; Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express; and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express are the five new routes on which the semi-high speed trains will operate. With this, India’s total number of semi-high-speed blue-white trains would rise to 23.

Here are the details of the trains to be launched tomorrow:

1. Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express:

This semi-high-speed train will connect the Mahakaushal region of Madhya Pradesh (Jabalpur) to the Central region (Bhopal). Madhya Pradesh’s second semi-high-speed train would run between the two cities at a speed of 130 km per hour. The train is intended to be thirty minutes faster than the current quickest train on the route.

2. Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express

The third semi-high-speed train in Madhya Pradesh will run between the state’s Malwa area (Indore), Bundelkhand region (Khajuraho), and Central area (Bhopal). The train is projected to boost tourist attractions like Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, and Panna. The train is intended to be two hours and thirty minutes faster than the route’s current fastest train.

3. Mumbai- Madgaon (Goa) Vande Bharat Express:

It will run between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Goa’s Madgaon station, making it Goa’s first semi-high-speed train. Except for Friday, the train will run six days a week. When compared to the present trains on the route, the train is predicted to cut travel time by around an hour. Following the Odisha tragedy, the railway ministry canceled the inauguration of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train.

4. Dharwad–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express:

Karnataka is going to get another semi-high-speed blue-white train that will connect vital cities such as Dharwad, Hubballi, and Davangere with the state capital Bengaluru. The train is intended to be thirty minutes faster than the current quickest train on the route. This will be Karnataka’s second Vande Bharat train; the first travel between Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mysuru.

5. Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express:

This semi-high-speed train would be Jharkhand and Bihar’s first Vande Bharat. A senior South Eastern Railway officer in Ranchi previously stated that, while the route chart has not been finalized, the train is expected to travel through Tatisilwai, Mersa, Shanki, Barkakana, Hazaribag, Koderma, and Gaya. When compared to the current quickest train on the route, it is estimated to save around one hour and twenty-five minutes in travel time.

Vande Bharat Express trains are now operating on 18 routes across the country, with the Tejas Express temporarily replacing the Bilaspur Nagpur Vande Bharat train. Commuters have flocked to the Vande Bharat trains. It is India’s first semi-high-speed train with first-rate passenger amenities.
