At the 69th National Film Awards 2023, the winners were unveiled during a Thursday evening ceremony at Delhi’s National Media Centre. Shoojit Sircar’s movie “Sardar Udham,” which was released on Prime Video in 2021 and featured Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, secured the esteemed title of the best feature film in Hindi.
Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award for his performance in the movie “Pushpa: The Rise,” while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the Best Actress award for their respective films “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Mimi.” The movie “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” was honored with the Best Feature Film award. Furthermore, “The Kashmir Files” was honored with the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration during the 69th National Film Awards.
Pankaj Tripathi was honored as the Best Supporting Actor for his remarkable portrayal in “Mimi” and he dedicated this award to his father, who had recently passed away. Pallavi Joshi was recognized with the Best Supporting Actress accolade for her role in “The Kashmir Files” at the 69th National Film Awards.
“RRR” secured the National Award for Best Film in the category of wholesome entertainment, along with recognition for Action Direction, Choreography, and Special Effects. “Shershaah” received a Special Jury Award.
