Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has once again gone above and above for his wife, Priscilla Chan. The forty-year-old Meta CEO recently disclosed that he had commissioned an exclusive off-market Porsche minivan for her as a present. Zuckerberg featured two incredible new Porsches in a social media post.The first car was a stunning Porsche 911 GT3 with a touring package. Additionally, the second was a custom-designed Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. It was specially tailored to resemble a minivan.
Porsche and West Coast Customs, a well-known car business in Southern California known for its upscale modifications, worked together to create this unique minivan. Zuckerberg made sure this one-of-a-kind car had an expanded frame and sliding rear doors to increase its visual appeal and practicality. On Instagram, Zuckerberg shared his enthusiasm, writing, “New side quest. Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. Threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers. Thanks to @porsche and @westcoastcustoms for helping to make this happen.”
His post emphasized how lighthearted their connection is, to which Chan jokingly responded, “They put in a boost mode. For when I’m late for drop-off???”
It’s interesting to note that this Porsche minivan might be the first one on the road. As per sources from The People, the luxury carmaker debuted the idea, dubbed the Porsche Vision “Renndienst,” in 2018.
Despite his immense wealth, Zuckerberg often drives more affordable cars like a Honda Fit or Volkswagen Golf GTI. Additionally, he is frequently seen in a black Acura TSX, which also costs around $30,000. However, his most expensive car is the Pagani Huayra, an Italian sports car. Experts value this car at over $1 million.
Making waves in August, Zuckerberg disclosed that he had commissioned a statue of Chan, following in the Roman custom of erecting statues in memory of one’s spouse. Along with a video showing the statue in their yard, he posted this artistic work with the statement, “Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife.” In a lighthearted manner, Chan said,“The more of me the better?”
The romance between Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan started in 2003 during a Harvard fraternity party. In May 2012, they exchanged vows in an impromptu outdoor ceremony at their Palo Alto, California residence. Three years after their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, Maxima, and their second daughter, August, in 2017. They recently celebrated Aurelia, their third daughter, who was born in 2023.
